Intelligent Data-driven Optimisation of Charging Infrastructure

02. Up-to-Data

Every month, the charging data from the public charging infrastructure of the four largest cities in the Netherlands (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague and Utrecht) and the Amsterdam Metropolitan Region (provinces of Noord-Holland, Flevoland and Utrecht) are gathered and analyzed by the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.

In this way, the use of the charging infrastructure can be mapped. For example, by analysing the data you can tell where there has been charged and when, the occupancy rate of the charging stations and the number of unique users. Furthermore, the richness and interesting research results can be achieved by combining different data sets or data with the charging data.
